Question for you lifted guys...

If you think you will have the same clearance you are smoking some serious stuff.
Sand dunes = Getting high centered...... it has nothing to do with axle clearance.
Every trip to Glamis (2 per month) I see somebody get high centered on some dunes...... usually chevys....LOL.
Also..... to prove my point....
Why don't you lower your dirt bike COG..... it would be better...right?
No need to worry about your ground clearance, like your frame hitting rocks and what else, you have big tires and wheels.

If you're getting high centered you should probably pick a better line.
And I've seen many sand drag bike lowered, there's a million of them at sand mountain.
As I stated before, watch the Baja 1000, you won't see any lifted trucks on 20's. You'll see low COG with massive amounts of travel.
With a low COG rig, heavy duty skid plates are your best friend.

Look at my post Mr. Phd....
I stated that I was talking about getting "High Centered" in the sand dunes and you still came in at me about axle clearance.....LOL! Dude, get over yourself... You do not know everything and everything. Go back and smoke some more but this time "stay away from the key board". Party On!

Comparing a full size truck to a motorcycle now? Yes, you worry about center clearance on a dirt bike because there is no axle clearance concern! The center is the lowest point. On a truck, the axles are the lowest point, so for most offroading that is what is most limiting.
You used your first posts merely to show off your trucks and not contribute to the thread, so here ya go:
Wow, awesome trucks! I bet that lifted SD does great in the dunes and you get awesome towing mileage with your lifted truck and 10" lifted trailer!!!
Feel better about yourself now? Good, then you won't feel the need to resort to personal attacks about other people's achievements. How does that really work anyway?
I also apologize to the OP. I should have done that in a PM.

Some folks like 2.5, some 4 some 8 some 10.
Also if you ask 10 folks on a medium fair topic post, 5 will be for it and 5 against it. Me, I love lift's for where I take my truck. Do lot's of homework and don't hold back on PMing people for advice.
Look in the lifted truck pages for something that suits you. Good luck.
