First and probably most important question is what do you want to do w/ the truck? As you go higher and higher the truck becomes less and less functional to use as a truck. If it's just a toy, then the sky (or your budget) is the limit. But they can get pretty tippy if you go too high.

I don't tow with my truck so That's not a problem, but I use the bed to haul some stuff. Is the lift going to effect the load I can put in the back?

Also might want to check the laws in your area. Last thing you want to do is get pulled over every time you drive somewhere.

Around here, you cant lift more than 6", and that includes height added by bigger tires, so the max is basically 4" with tires.

Firestone destination mt's 315.75 r 16 on moto metal 16x10. Currently I rub turning right but not left. So once I get an alignment it shouldn't rub anymore. It's a tight squeeze if ur off road

State law is no big deal, I never obey the law haha jk, the law here is max of 5 1/2 in suspension lift and no bigger than 9 in or 4.5 in all around larger than stock. But there are guys around here with truck way bigger than that and they don't get pulled over. But I thought of that and I'm thinking just the six inch lift so if I do get pulled over for something the cop can't throw more tickets at me.

Yeah, there are quite a few trucks around here with well over 6" of lift and huge tires and they don't seem to get bothered. But somehow they decided to give me a ticket in my old F-150 with a 3" body lift, 2" suspension, and 35s.

do a 4" or 4.5" with 35" tires My truck has the 4.5" and it's perfect IMO. minimal fender gap, but the 35's stuff easily with no rub

6" is great, but no need for one if you only want to run 35" tires

I eventually want to go up to 36 or 37's but I plan on waiting for my 35's to bold before buying new tires
