Stuck. No start. P0700, P1000, P0706, P0707, P1702
I stopped at a convenience store, shut off truck and got out. Got back in truck and started truck. She sounded funny, rpm's a bit higher than normal idle and tow haul started flashing. Shut her down, tried restart and now it won't start.
All fine as far as measurements on my Edge CTS (temp, volt etc). All fluid levels ok.
No check engine light came on so searched for codes on the CTS.
It found P0700, P1000, P0706, P0707, P1702. The description on the CTS describes some tranny circuit sensor fault.
I'm going to call AAA and have it towed. I can't do anything here.
My question is should I tow it home or to a shop? Can I fix this myself or is this some electronic part buried in the tranny?
Any help appreciated.

I just got a call from the shop to say that it's not the sensor in the transmission, instead it's the fan clutch.
His initial assesment of it being the sensor was based on the codes I gave him and the description of the problem. He got to the truck today and that is what he reported.
Strange how things seem to happen together, but this follows on the heels of skylinetowing's issues ...

I'll find out more info such as were wires cut, or if wires came loose or if part failed and report back.
