30# injectors

I have 30's in my 302 mustang and use a lighting 80mm MAF. It was tuned with a chip on the dyno. I am no expert but my understanding is that the injectors have to match the MAF. If your truck is speed density and MAf controlled I have no idea. The guy who tuned my truck and is pretty well known for his tuning ability said that his just adjusted the duty cycle of the 30's down for my application as I could have easily used 24's. Along with your other trick flow parts sounds like you can use the 30's for sure. Did any that make sense?

No.. injectors should match what the computer is programmed for since it is the computer that holds all the calibration data for everything under the hood and makes fueling calculations based on those numbers and real-time feedback from the sensors. Larger injectors with a "calibrated" MAF is a hack that can work well at producing peak HP but it often fails miserably at everything else and will never produce anywhere near as good a running engine as a properly tuning computer.

You don't need 30lb injectors until you get much better heads. You can use them with a tune but overall I think you're just throwing money away at this point, your motor hasn't exceeded the supply capacity of 19's yet.
