Dip Stick Tube Leak

My '91 460 has an oil leak where the dip stick tube enters the engine oil pan...any simple fix for this? Leak may have started when headers were installed.

Thanks,

Bob

On mine I pulled out the tube and put 2 new o-rings on it. Also make sure the bracket where it bolts to the exhaust manifold is not bent so that it is seating the o-rings properly down in the hole.

Jas hit on it, when you put the headers on they are thinner then the stock exhaust manifold so you probably have it going into the pan at a slight angle making the orings not seat and seal properly. I would pull it out, put new orings on it then your going to have to bend the bracket or the tube slightly so when it's bolted to the header bolts it enters the hole in the pan square.
