Wont start, wont crank
Not sure what's going on with my truck this evening. Was doing great all day, came home from running around looking for some parts for my son's car and wife's van. Went back out about an hour after I got home and went to start it and nothing. Wont crank, wont click or anything. Tried pulling the gear selector down into neutral, then back to park. Nothing. Tried with lights on to see if it was drawing down. Again, nothing. The gear selector is a little loose and it has done it to me once before but as soon as I went from park to drive or neutral and back to park, it started right up. Now I'm stumped. Like I said before, this is my first Ford and first deisel so I have almost no clue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Rides,
I'd post this in the 7.3L forum...those guys are very knowledgeable over there.
That would be my first suggestion...I'm clueless on diesels.
First thing I would think of is a battery...but I know you have two in that beast...what's the odds of BOTH batteries going bad at the same time?...and I know you have two batteries to supply enough juice for the glow plug...that's about my extent on oil burners! LOL...
Good luck...but seriously...post this over in the 7.3L forum...and I'm confident you'll get some good advice/ideas!
Joe.
