Ford F250

2000 Ford F250 V10, replaced upstream O2 sensors, PCV valve, spark plugs, IAC, hoses and now the EGR which changed things. The truck runs bad and the throttle body gets hot. I'm afraid to drive as it seems it will break down. Any ideas?

Hello and Welcome to FTE!

What was the truck doing before you replaced all those things? Was all of them replaced at the same time? Or was it done in stages, trying to fix the problam? If you can give a little more info on what is going on we might be able to give some more idea's.

The truck was running fine, just seems to idle high, just bought it and wanted to replace things as had no idea what previous owner had done. Vaccum at 18pds and steady. If I plug the EGR it runs great again?
