1957 ford f-250 - possible partial resto?

Hi, what do y'all think? Concerns? See link below.

what might be a possible new engine or could it be rebuilt? I would like a V8, maybe a 292, or something around that size, (300 I6, 302 V8) I dont have much to drop on an engine, so keep that in mind please.

Since it has no bed, I was wondering: could I put a short bed on it and extend the cab to maybe a super-cab?

Looks like a good start! I'd keep the 223, you could rebuild it (if it needs it) for about what a swap would cost. Or find a used one, guys sometimes swap out good runners for v8's.

Anything's possible with the right skills! An extended cab fridge would be a neat rig, but it would be a lot of work. But if you do it yourself, it could be done pretty cheaply, it's not the metal that so expensive, it's the labor. Judging by your username you know what you'd be getting into.

Good luck!

Sam
