cab swap
I have a 1986 f-250 4x4 . My bed and cab are shot. I want to swap to a newer cab and bed. Will a newer style cab and bed swap over ? I was also able to pick up in the last few months 3 complete 460 motors . My truck now has the 400m so I think this will be a straight forward swap but I want to take care of the body first . Who makes good headers for this swap ? Thanks for all your help.

I put a 91 (2wd) cab and 93 bed on an 83 4x4 - worked well (see my gallery) I think you can go up to 96 with that frame.
My only advise would be to keep everything you use from the same country. My stuff was all US made, except the green 88 parts truck - it was from Canada. Significant differences in fuel systems, metrics, and wiring.
