can i run a parrot ls3200 and a frd04 adapter

Not sure if that title makes any sense body basicaly I'm running a LS3200 parrot hands free in my 07 f-350 and I want to add an FRD04-aux to use my aux button on the factory stereo to listen to my iphone.

the parrot uses an adapter harness to plug into the back of the stereo and then the factory plugs plug into the adapter.

just wondering if anybody runs anything like this or knows if one will affect the other?

thanks Hilgy

How would you hook them both up? Sounds like the parrot connects to the factory stereo the same way the p.i.e adapter does.

well i was hoping that the P.I.E would have the same stackable connections as the parrot.

basically the parrot has a set of connecters that plug into the back of the stereo and the factory harness plugs into that.

If anyone has a pic of the harness that came with their P.I.E i would love to see it.

I just dont want to spend the 80$ to get a P.I.E unit just to find out it wont work with the parrot

I deleted the pics i had, sorry, but i can definitely tell you that when i hooked mine up there were harnesses that plugged into the stereo then the factory harnesses plugged into them...if that makes sense

Badseed,
Thanks for the info. I think I might be ok if the PIE harness works the same way.
Basically I would plug in parrot, plug PIE into that harness, plug factory harness into that.

I think I'll give it a shot. Anybody know where to get the best deal on a PIE FRD04-aux

Yeah, its worth a try...I dont know anything about the parrot but i guess when you hit the "aux" button you'll be able to have your music and your hands free if you hook it up that way.

I'm ordering another one for my other vehicle from tss-radio.com..cheapest i found plus i've ordered from them before. Good luck!

Call Crutchfieled and they can help. I use a frd04aux plugged into back of stereo with an iPod adapter which goes into the back of frdxaux and I stack the line in RCA with my sat radio too. To get best sound, I unhook sat to get clearer iPod or iPhone signal through the stereo. My former FRDX lasted 5 years. I just installed a new one. Sound is great because it's direct input instead of via fm signal.
