I have a factory cd player that has the 2 plug harness setup on the back. I purchased a Ford factory Pioneer 6 disc unit out of a 2003 Sport Trac that has the three plug harness setup. Is the third plug on the unit for a sub? Will this unit work with the two plug harness that is in my 2000 F150 truck with out using the third connection?
Thanks for any help ,
Larry

The colors aren't matching up, but I don't have access to pinouts.
If you must use this one, I would buy two harness. One that plugs into your truck and one that plugs into the new radio. Then match the wire colors up and you should have everything working.
Thanks for the suggestion. Is the first plug-in from the left on this stereo for the factory amp? I have the 2nd and 3rd plug-ins on my truck already.
Thanks ,
Larry
