I took the fuel filter out and checked for flow, it did and i could not stop it with my finger. So if i take one of the plugs out of head inline with oil rail i can check for pressure right? Could a stuck IPR cause the hpop to build pressure but not release it to supply lines? So pretty much all i can figure is either there is no oil or fuel one of the two not getting to the heads. Cause i show adequete ICP on my scan tool and i have fuel in the bowl. And i can hear what i believe is the injectors firing when i crank it over a click click click.

There a plug on the back of the fuel bowl for pressure. One at the line output side on the passenger side and one prefilter on inlet side. You can read fuel pressure there.

OK i believe i have come to the conclusion i am not getting any fuel to the heads. I took the pass side plug out of fuel rail located in front near fuel bowl. I turn the key and get No fuel out of rail. I do have fuel coming out of return line on drivers side fuel bowl though. What would cause this? Also i looked at a diagram and it says there are only the two hard lines feeding the heads cooming off pass side fuel bowl.

You have oil. If it was reading 2000 psi and 40% dc you should be good there. The sensor to read psi is threaded into the oil rail on the drivers head. I'm leaning toward a fuel problem as well. And btw do you get a WTS light?

OK guys i found the problem saturday! I was not getting any fuel out of bowl so i took it off and apart, the black plastic deal that goes up in filter was goofed up! I pulled the heater out and the platic tube. Took it apart and found out that the little steel pin shaft was poked out the side of the little plastic cap that the filter pushes down. Thus it had the flow cut off to the feed lines. I dont know how it happend or how long it had been like that but its runs now and it didnt take no 3 thousand to fix it! Some how i believe that the shut off was just cocked enough that fuel was getting past it and finally it popped up and cut the flow. Just like the guy said it just acted like it ran out of fuel and that was exactly what happened. I am now way familiar with the fuel system and oil system and in future situations will do some quick checks with the cool guage setup i made that dont even involve a scan tool that will tell me right off whats goin on.

What kind of fuel filter was it? Do tell us about your new gauge.

It was a NAPA filter but i dont believe it had anything to do with the problem, like i said the problem was inside the black plastic tube that filter incompasses. If i get a chance today i will call ford and find the name of the piece i am describing. The gauge consisted of a double male #4 Boss Oring with 1/4 JIC. The oring end threads into fuel bowl on either the supply or demand side of housing, there is a Torx head plug. I had them make it out of high pressure hydraulic line so i can use it on the hpop system too! All i will have to get is the correct size of Boss Oring and a gauge rated for atleast 3000psi maybe more if you are gonna check at WOT.
