Weatherstrip replacement

I just replaced the left door weather stripping, oem parts, on my 87' F350 standard cab. The door seamed to be adjusted right but I had a lot of wind noise. After replacing the old weather stripping the door binds. The door will close and latch but you have to slam it. Question....will the new weather relax or do I need to adjust the door. It was the weather striping that fits the flange on the cab opening. thanks

Give it some time and see if the weatherstripping will relax. Do you know if at some time the door was adjusted to compensate /compress the old weatherstripping? if it was - then you may have to adjust the door for the new stripping

Don't know if the door has been adjusted before, doesn't look like it. I will give it a day or 2 and see what happens. Thanks
