Any idea if these would fit a 2000 Excursion?

I don't see why not, as the X is the same exact frame up front, but you never know. I'd call Hedman and see if they have any ideas.

Worth a try IMO. If I would own an Ex I could give you definitive answers because it would have to have headers on it.

I know, I've been trying to get it done. I might have to leave the video camera on the side of the road and do it myself

Or on a chair in a school parking lot to be able hear idle and driving away. Parking lot would offer some security.

If you did a comparable test from standing stop and flooring it... which brand header will spin the tires more?

I have the ebay headers and y pipe mod currently and they just started leaking. I have not had time to locate the leak but it seems to be around the collector area.

Thanks,
Chris Rehtorik

Can't really say which spins the tires more - with 285/75R16's, and two completely different brand and type of tires over the couple-of-years difference in timing, I can't really say.

I can say for sure that the Hedmans have more throttle response. But I think they're TOTAL torque or HP hasn't changed much.

I'm bringing my laptop home today so I can check with the SCT X3 datalogger the 0-60 times again...
