I use mine as a daily driver. It's the only vehicle we have. We put probably 30 to 50 miles each day on it, depending on the day. We got the crew cab because my boys were out-growing the extended cab. They are 19 and 13 and both play on SEVERAL worship teams at our church. The camper shell is a must to haul their equipment to and from the church in the snow.

My daily driver also. 10 miles each way (20 daily for those that have trouble adding... )

For long trips we'll take her AWD Ford Edge (~20 mpg)...

I drive 25 miles each way. One way to work all highway and back home country roads since the highways are crowded at 5pm not 6am

Mine is also a daily driver but being a self-employed carpenter my drive changes all the time. Right now my drive to the current job is about 25 miles round trip not including trips to the Depot. The longest daily drive I had was 125 miles round trip for about 2 years. Tomorrow I'll be driving about 100 miles. I am always considering driving something smaller but smaller to me is a Excursion with a V10, go figure.

Daily driver and for the past 5 weeks been driving 150 miles each day, some days over 250. Even with the 11-12 mpg, it's the best truck I have ever owned. Except for the $368 spark plug change and normal oil changes, this truck has been totally trouble free at 99,xxx miles. Tows heavy and never complains. It has never been in the shop for a problem. What more can you ask for a big 4X4 truck???

Been my daily driver since I got new in 2000, but it's only 3 miles to work. Just over 45,000 miles on it now, we use the explorer for driving the kids around.
