I saw those once before, quite a few years ago, they were suppose to take each exhuast pulse in the firing order out a seperate side, sounded like a good idea, don't know how well they really worked

I had a set similar to that on my 69 cyclone 428 ,2 tubes from one side went to the other. Sounded great not much room in the engine compartment. They were a real bear to install took all day to get them on. Mine were Hooker's they were circle track headers they were expensive at about 450.00$ in 1970"s money!!
Have a good day . Hotwrench
Those are called 180 degree headers. The pipes are to the cylinders that are 180 degrees out from the one another. Give more even exhaust pulses for better scavagening on the reversion pulse. Make good power but sound funny compared to what standard headers do. The are easy to install because of the way they breakdown. IMO he wants way to much one for them.
The only thing they're good for is a template or pattern to build true 180 degree headers off. Look at those "bundle of snakes" 180 degree exhaust on formula 1 back in the mid 60's. Now to build long tube true 180 degree headers for a FE powered pickup, what a pipe dream project.

I was also thinking he wants way too much for a set of headers in that condition, but was interested in using them as a template for a new set. Until I checked them last night - they already at a $100, plus another 80 for shipping. What is the difference in how they sound? Less rumble or something? It would probably be tough to describe...
