Restoration with cab left on questions/suggestions
I have read many posts on restoring trucks from the ground up, and I am interested in doing the same. The only issue I have is that I do not have the time, equipment, or knowledge to take off the cab. I am very apprehensive about attempting this and I would like to restore the truck while leaving the cab on.
My questions and thoughts:
I'd love to hear suggestions, horror stories, success stories from some of you regarding this process. I'd love to see some before and after pictures.
Is it worth leaving the cab on? Or should I really go through that process to take it off?
Any potential problems you see with this? My cab is in very good shape, and would not require work on the bottom of it.
Give me your two-cents. I'd appreciate it to be constructive. Thanks in advance.

If you dont have the time to it right the first time, wait till you have the time do it right you will be much happier. Trust me you will want new cab mounts anyway. Equipment? some eight inch block two 4x4 post and a jack will do. Knowledge? It's easy just jump in and do it.
