Post Tow Mirror Swap

Got a question i haven't been able to find an answer to. Has anyone ever put 2008+ power tow mirrors (w/lights) in a 2000 XL model without power mirrors. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have yet to see a write up for adding power mirrors. Some have said the harness is in the door.. If that is the case there is a write up for wiring the 08+ to the older switch. The lights are easy to add. And bolting the mirrors on takes minutes

Yea i've done the swap from the small paddle mirrors to manual tow mirrors already, just interested to see if it's possible to put in lighted 08+ style. If not any idea how to add the 04-07 lighted mirrors? Not worried about heated mirrors.

I'm getting ready to install the (power, heated, lighted) mirrors on my XL, my XL does NOT have any power mirror options at all and the harness is not inside the door, I've looked.
What I will be doing is hooking up what I want myself, I will be hooking up the running lights, turn signals and heat.
The running lights will be tied into the running lights I have added on my running boards which are tied into the trailer harness.
Turn signals will be tied into the turn signals on the truck (hoping it doesn't trip the BCM)(cannot tie into turn signals on the trailer harness because the turn signals on the trailer harness are also the brake lights).

The heat will be run off of a switch coming straight off the battery with fuse.

As far as the power glass, I will not be hooking it up as I have no interest in it.
