Mirror ?
I have a 2008 F-250 FX4 Off Road, with a 5.4L Gas engine, it has the regular mirrors on it. I want to switch them to the telescoping trailer tow mirrors and my local dealer is telling me that I can't. I don't see why not, the truck has power mirrors now, there not heated though. It does have a tow package though. If anybody has information about this please help.

i think what the dealer means is that you can't equip the mirrors with the power fold/power telescoping like most fx4's. you can always switch the mirrors. they have the same mounting points and the same plugs, and the power tow mirrors will be an easy swap. and if you buy mirrors with heat and turn signals, it will all work. not sure about the 08 door removal to get the mirror out but someone will.
