Removing the Dash Bezel

Okay well I got the screws off etc etc, its about to slide out but its hitting on the gear selector lever. Is this another process involved on an automatic truck? what else do I have to remove so the dash bezel can slide out? I am replacing dash lights and also going to super glue part of it lol. This is a 1993 f150

Have you tried setting the parking brake and moving the shift lever into 1st position?

my park brake doesnt work so i hold the normal brake, turn key on (dont start) shify into 1st and ull it out, there will be wires on the left side plugged into the back, possibly the right as well if you have push button 4x4, then there a little caress to get it to clear on the top.

I got it done, wasn't too hard. Well now I wanted to do the OP gauge mod to actually make the needle move according to the pressure. Bypassing the resistor is no big deal for me just wanted to know what sender I will need to get instead of the stupid OP switch that I have now. I've heard that a sender from a 86 f150 and earlier will work? Will it just bolt right in the old ones place or what am I looking at exactly?

Found this in Autozone from a 1986 f150

this is my OP switch

I will still need the extender? I have also heard about a 45degree brass coupling to do this mod
