finally pulled codes... need help

Ok guys, 94 f150 5.0 4X4 a4od. I posted awhile back about hard shifts and jumping speedo, you guys recommended I pull codes. So I just did it with the CeL and this is what I got 123 145 262 845 I went through it a few times and that's what I came up with. Defiantly can be confusing. So any help with those codes would be great, truck is really starting to act up. Thanks guys.

Here's a rundown..
123: Throttle posistion sensor above maxium voltage
145: ?
262: ?
845: ?

I can't help you on the "?"'s for codes not listed. They aren't listed in my Ford Code Reader book. You may need to re-run the Self-Test again, and be sure you are getting the correct codes listed as "?"'s

Hope this helps.

EDIT:If code 145 is actually 144, it means "HEGO sensor switch fault".

Thanks guys, I was digging around online and couldn't find those other codes either. I thought I was reading it right went through it a bunch of times. It was the first time I ever did it. I'll digest what I learned so far and try again in the morning.

for your throttle position sensor you can test it very easily, all you need is a multimeter. I just went through this, not like you, nothing transmission related, but I had to test the PTS as well as other sensors. I found a video on youtube that goes through the process.
good luck and it would definetly help if you verify the other codes. Oh and i don't think it matters but my truck is a 96 with obdII

I would try to get the codes again before spending too much time diagnosing a potential problem. If there aren't definitions for the codes, they aren't valid codes. There is a diagram here that may help decipher the blinks and pauses (the example is 2-digit, but add another 2 second pause and flash before the 4 second pause): EEC IV Self Test hookup

Or buy an Equus 3145 code reader for around $30.00. Takes the pain away.

I went and tried to buy one yesterday but none of the stores around here had one, all the ones they had were for obdll. It's frustrating me cause I usually don't have any problem figuring stuff like that out. I haven't tried yet today I will once I have a shady spot to work in later.
