Typical Boost Numbers?

Was just wondering what I should be seeing as far as normal boost pressures? I've got a Superchips 1705 Tuner that only has the 2 settings, Tow Safe and Hi-Perf. I run it on Tow-Safe all the time. 3" MBRP DP going into 4" then a 5" side-pipe. I can hit 10 or so with a push of the pedal. I've seen 20 if my foots in it. And cruising on the Interstate at 70, running about 2400Rpm's i see about 8lbs constant.

My stock 97 with 340k miles can see up to 17 psi of boost with my foot in it and 3 to 4 at 70 at 2000rpms

My other 97 with stage 2s sees 25psi easy and will peg out my 30 pound gauge when I'm over half throttle

I've hit 25 b4, that was on my Tow-Safe setting. Blew the boost line off, my boot that goes over the line into the T was cracked and it came out. I noticed my gauge wasn't working after a day or so Lol.

Deadeye, those numbers sound about right. Maybe even on the top end of normal. Must not have any leaks. With the SC1705 and stage 1's and intercooler, I'm not much ahead of that.

Haha Well I sure hope not! =p Was just trying to get a feel for what I should be running. Im over 250k miles now on the old truck lol, was just seeing how she was doing. It was well maintained by the first owner, course im the 3rd or 4th. But it had the Owners Manual, Window Sticker and everything in it. First owner also kept track of oil changes and milage inside the manual. But for me being only 18, This is a Dream of a Truck!
