The rear bushing closest to the bracket is broke, can i drive it about 100 miles this weekend to school or should it not be driven? Thanks

Careful and try to avoid as much bumps or especially pot holes at higher speeds, you can get the "Death wobble".

Other than that, and a clunk when ever you step on the brakes, and a clunk when you take off, not to much to worry about.

I'll trade you the bushing issue for this...

and...

and...

What started out as an oil change, turned into a radius arm bracket relacement. 2 weeks later, the other one gave out.
Driver's side was riveted, pass side bolted.

This suggest that the driver-side was still the factory bracket, but the passenger-side had already been replaced at some point in the past.

Same here. Lotsa weird issues with these trucks lately it seems, remember the guy whose I-beam split where the bushing goes in? Now how does THAT happen, even more so with a good bushing in there?

Does anyone have a good write up or can tell me how to replace these bushing. I believe you have to take the bracket off, replace the bushings then put the bracket back on with some grade 8's?

That's pretty much how you do it. Id have the front on a jack and stands to be safe.

Yep, that's how you do it. I've heard you can pull the front-end out, but I'm not sure about that. I do know you CAN NOT use a come-along to pull one side out... I ruined half the threads on my pass. radius arm trying to avoid taking the rivets out and had to put the original bushing back on for now.
