I installed the Titan 50 Gal tank on my '15 F250 Platinum this past weekend. When I went to the dealership to have them calibrate my capacity to the 50 gal instead of the 26 gal tank, they wanted to charge me $130 for the 5 - 10 min flash. Is there any other way to have this calibration completed? Will the trunk calibrate itself over time by itself?
You have no choice outside Ford to recalibrate that I know of.
It will not self adjust.
They normally charge approx. 1 hr labor. They did not in my case. I was there for other reasons, and showed them the instructions on how to. so no problem in my case.

Thank you Y2KPSD! Very quick response!
I will just have to find a cheaper shop I guess. $130 is a little high but we are in the middle of an Oil Boom too. Our Hotel rooms averager $300 a night here. Just a little inflated!
The service advisor needs to write up a w/o, (and get his commission (10%??) on the work).
The tech needs to do the Job, the Q/A guy needs to verify, the cashier needs to take your money. So they book an hour Sorry.
Hi all, Im new to this forum but in my last truck (2011 F350) i replaced my fuel tank for a 50 gal and reprogramed it. This winter i purchased a new 2017 F-350 and just recently replaced the fuel tank also. I checked the settings with a OBDII computer but found nothing. Has anyone had any luck with the reprogramming? Thanks in advance.
Can the 2011-2016 use Forscan to also set their diesel tank to what they want?
Look at the spreadsheet linked above by Larry. Go to the IPC tab, line 38. It allows for custom size by litres. That formula was provided by LivnItUp.
I have not personally tried it, nor do I know if it will set a CEL or DTC.
