I Have a 00 Ford Excursion with a v10 the cruise went out over a year ago and then shorty after the motor broke 3 conecting rods. about a month ago I put a motor in it and the cruise still dont work. i also put a cruise unit in it and still nothing. is there a way to test this or anything? any thing will help because my family and I are planing to drive it from nebraska to disney world this summer please and thank you

mine has already been fixed that was one of the first things i checked

 

Did the dealer fix it under the recall? If it was a dealer repair they may only have put a pigtail between the old plug and the switch. If the switch wasn't leaking at the time it was just the pigtail put in.

 

Ok so you think think the break switch is bad or what If so will one work off an expedition because i have one at work that we are junking out

To see if the switch might be bad unscrew it and check for brake fluid on the end of it.
