blown fuse ??

I was removing the inside light when the screw touched the bulb and sparked. After that my radio wont come on and the reading lights wont come on. also my windows wont let down. All other lights work correctly including the inside lights but not the manual reading lights. I've checked fuses and they all seem good. Any Help??? thanks

Check the Delayed Accessory fuse, #42 under the steering column.

Test fuses with a test light or a meter. A fuse can appear OK but still be blown.

well it wasnt 42. I checked every fuse that could be related with a ohm meter. the only one im not sure of is 306 which is a 4 pin relay.

All of the items you mentioned are powered through the accessory delay circuit. This is a fused circuit (42) and controlled by the Accessory Delay Relay (#306). It is possible that what you did damaged that relay, even though the fuse should have protected it.

There should be a diagram on the side of that relay showing which 2 pins are the coil and which two are the contacts. If you take it out and put power and ground on the coil, you should be able to measure continuity across the contacts.

Just swap the # 306 relay with another similar relay. There are plenty of them in the fuse/relay panel.
