door latch bushings

97 f-250 crew cab 3 of the 4 plastic bushings that hold the door latch have crumbled in the past 2 weeks making the doors rattle and not sound right when closed.
What is the name of these plastic pieces?

After you fix the hinge pins & bushings, you will need to replace the the entire striker to get the plastic bushings...

I do not want to mess with the hinges. I thought a star wrench would be used to unscrew and replace plastic bushings . Im talking about the one on the frame or pillar where the key-mechanism latches to the inside

Be careful not to over torque them. The part they screw into is plastic. I shut my door one day real hard and destroyed the piece on the 94

You can get the at Autozone (or the like) for $5-$10
Come in a little card that says "Dormin/HELP!" on it. Part # 38410

HERE IS what they look like and the link to them at advance auto.

I used an air rotary tool to sand the old ones down, then the air chisel to punch the old ones out. getting the new bushings in was the tricky part IIRC. Helps to have a 2nd set of hands and patience (I don't have much of the later)

Good Luck

Robb

EDIT: While were on this topic, does anyone have the part number (autozone, advance etc... anything but ford) for the striker bushing on the tailgate? I just looked and mine are pretty worn down...
