water leak

well i have a water leak on my 03 Powerstroke 6.0. i have water in the valley but i cant see exactly where it is leaking. it only leaks if i leaf the truck sitting for more than a day or so... if i run it atleast once a day it does not leak at all.

any ideas of where it might be leaking?

Is this hose in your truck "blue" or "Orange"?

Good place to start.

Good work,I was just digging something up for him.It is a very common leak on the early trucks that had the orange hose.

Only places I know in the valley that leak coolant: EGR to oil cooler hose and it's connection housing, EGR cooler to intake manifold, Intake manifold Donut gasket, Intake manifold to degas bottle hose, Oil cooler
