05-07 Bumper sticking out past the fenders help please

I recently put a 05-07 front end conversion on my '99 f250 but when I stood back to admire the face lift I noticed the bumper is sticking out past the fenders maybe 1-2 inches past the fenders.... Anyone else ever dealt with this? Wondering if I forgot something when I did the conversion and no I don't have the diagonal braces....

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Mine that way too. Drivers side sticks out further then the passenger side too and it drives me crazy.

Had same thing after my conversion, drove me crazy , arranged with a self-made small bracket and 2 screws on each side.

I believe this to be a defect in the bumper. While many have this problem it is not right! I don't know what causes it, but I fixed mine with a combination of a 4 ton come along and a floor jack and pulling on the bumper. You have to be careful or it will try and buckle in the middle.

I was thinking of making my own brace and running it from the top corner of the bumper where the bumper pad is placed down to the bracket itself to pull er in I just hate seeing things tho that aren't suppose to be there...... Where did you place the jack? and did you have the bumper off the truck when you did it?

a friend of mine told me earlier about loosening the 4 bumper bolts and pulling on the center of the bumper between the frame to suck the sides in then impact the bolts down and it should stay....

I'm game to try anything and he has a 06 f250 and his bumper does the same thing stock..... damn bumpers!!!

I alternately hooked the come along on the corners of the bumper running under the frame to pull them into each other. It would pull one corner down, so I had to jack up on the corner as it pulled it down to bend the bumper at the ends. If you do it in the middle it won't work. the top pad will buckle and the valance won't look right. Mine started to at first because I hooked the come a long between the corners and it bent right in the middle like you describe. it's kinda hard to explain but it worked well. this was done with the bumper on the truck. i think i alternated between pulling on the frame to bumper top and bottom corners on each side.

I don't know forsure but I am pretty sure mine does this as well, but I also have the 450 widetrack flares on my bumper so to me it is not a big deal since they stick out so far anyways.
