GPR Replacement time. What to replace with?

Hey Guys,

I need to replace the GPR, and was trying to decide if I should go with the Stancor 586-902 or something else.

Help me decide.

2001 7.3.

Thanks, Brice

After going through two OEM GPR's, I switched to the Stancor. It is pretty solid.

When my GPR puked, I went with the Stancor. No issues since.

Thanks to everyone here who recommended Stancor when my GPR went.

Go Stancor! My Napa GPR 109 cost more then it and it was made like junk! I broke my new one during installation because you cant put any torque on the posts! NONE, ZERO. The same post broke off as i found the one did when I was removing my old one. Then you gotta mount it 90* off so ur yanking on wires and such.

Id go with Stancor. I am if i ever need one again. No questions asked.

Those other guys are morons. No clue what they are saying. Didn't even mention the Stancor yet. Sheesh. Only way to go.

NAPA GPR went into my truck when I purchased it. In about a week it would not connect occasionally. Got the stancor now...

Stancor is the ONLY way to go. I hear too many problems with the Napa GPRs etc. I have had two OEM GPRs and now i have the Stancor when my last one went. No issues. THis GPR is solid as someone said above

I used the Napa St36 & have had no issues yet in a year. It was mid winter & I needed one quick & couldn't find a Stancor local so I did some research & found the ST36 is equivalent in specs to the Stancor. It pretty much bolts up the same as the OEM too. Store Locator | NAPA Online
If it doesn't hold out I'll try the Stancor next time.

stancor is the only way to go. While you are at it you might as well go ahead and do the GPR led mod.
