Modify and Flog

Bronco Raptor deliveries are officially underway, and we're starting to see the high-performance off-roader pop up in all sorts of places, whether that be paved roads or the local trails. Not everyone will be lucky enough to secure a 2022 model, as there simply aren't many to go around, but pro racer and creator/owner of RTR Vaughn Gittin Jr. is among those ranks after he recently took possession of his own new, shiny Raptor and proceeded to both modify and flog, as we can see in this video.

Ultra Wide

While we've seen more than our fair share of Bronco Raptor reviews thus far, Gittin Jr. does a nice job of comparing the SUV to a couple of other Broncos he has sitting around, all of which are equipped with RTR parts, of course. One of the most notable differences here is just how much wider the Raptor is than anything else, however - even modified models.

Already Modified

Even though he just got it, Gittin Jr. has already modified his Bronco Raptor too, at least in terms of swapping out the stock wheels for a set of RTR Eco 6 units. Those parts look right at home on the Raptor and are an easy mod thanks to the fact that it shares quite a few components with regular Bronco models.

Street to Track

Another interesting tidbit that Gittin Jr. points out is the Bronco Raptor's suspension is the same setup as what he runs on his racing vehicles, which is about as good an endorsement for Fox's Active Live Valve setup as one can get. Typically, things like this are developed in motorsports and trickle down to the production version, but in this case, it's the other way around.

Rock Climbing

As such, he isn't afraid to get his Bronco Raptor dirty and show off a small chunk of its capability by climbing some steep rocks with no problem. Funny enough, it's the first time he's attempted such a feat in any vehicle, but the Bronco Raptor makes it look easy with its giant 37-inch tires.

Making the Donuts

With that feat accomplished, Gittin Jr. puts his Raptor in Baja mode and proceeds to use its tires to remove the grass from a nearby field, doing some donuts in the process. The SUV proves more than up to these tasks, but knowing Gittin Jr., he has far more difficult challenges already lined up for his new ride.
