Is there a list for F-series 6.8l V10 “plug and play” engine swaps by year?
Any and All help is greatly appreciated.
What would be necessary for an easy “plug and play” type V10 to V10 engine swap? Is there an easy swap
chart by year out there?
2012 Ford F450 3v 6.8l, 4x4, 141” WB, Cab/Chasis model. I’m guessing the previous owner starved it of oil since it’s completely locked up and won’t budge even with belt and all plugs removed?
I’d like to find a direct used engine replacement option. What years will be a direct fit without any modifications or ecu swaps?
I’ve found a few affordable, running 2016 F450 6.8l engines but I’m not 100% if I need the ECU or any other electrical components to install the newer motor into my 2012 F450?
