Coolant test?

I’m sure the info is here somewhere but quick question…. Are we still supposed to use test strips to check the coolant at a certain mileage? I know I had to do this on my 11 and prob on the 19, but not sure about the 26 with the HO?

Just change the coolant at 100,000 or sooner and be done with it.

Nope, these engines don't suffer from Cavitation like the old IH engines did, so no levels to monitor, just change it when required.

The OAT coolant that was in your 2011 and possibly in your 2019 did have test strips for them. Starting in 2018-2019 (but varies by truck), Ford went to a Phosphated OAT coolant (VC-13 IIRC), longer like than traditional OATs no need for test strips now.
