Hello all, i have a 2017 f250 lariat with a clicking noise coming from steering wheel, its been present for a few months, started when on round-a-bouts or turns to sound like a marble rolling, on bumps or gravel roads the clicking is constant, I was able to duplicate in a video, I removed the air bag, clock spring, and other trim around the steering wheel. I have been unsuccessful finding the source. I sprayed WD40 on all UJoints/Bearings to see if that was it, still present. I am lost at this point, has anyone else had this issue? any ideas on what this may be? Note that this only happens in motion, When going under 5 mph it wont make the noise, not even when jacked off the ground with suspension unloaded or loaded. Clicking noise sounds like it comes from right in steering wheel above 5 mph. cant feel the rattle or stop on any wires or modules.I have tried different telescoping and tilt positions but it doesnt change anything. Any help appreciated. Video attatched below
Not sure if it's the same but I had a click in my column. Someone on here suggested I separate the steering column slip joint under the hood and grease it. Fixed mine.
After lubing parts of the lower steering shaft, still no remedy. Found that it is actually a noise created by rocking of the truck, when in park if i rock my truck back and forth aggressively i can get the noise to duplicate although I am unable to locate the sound while jumping up and down on my running board. Still unsure what the problem may be. Not sure if it’s a worn bearing in steering column. Something under dash. I have been unsuccessful in finding it.

I believe its the clock spring. There was a rash of post about the noise in the steering wheel awhile back. Seems to be more noticeable in colder weather.

The clock spring is removed, so that cannot be the culprit.
