2017 Tailgate handle
I’m very been having an issue with my tailgate handle not closing by itself, I have to physically push on it to close it, and the tail gate clasps every time. I’ve take it apart and clean/lubed everything but nothing changed. Any ideas what to do or does the assembly just got bad after a while and need replacing?

It's annoying and dumb as I have done the same as you and it's still a problem. I just live with it and always make sure the latch is closed even when I'm not the one the shut the tailgate I have to make sure it's 100% shut and closed.
