As I live in Sweden there is not many of the shell filters for the 7.3 Powerstroke...
There is, for some reason for GM and Cummins. I wonder if any other engine uses the same filter att the 7.3 as most engines have som sort of "standard" filter used by others.
You know which other engines use the same filter so I can look for those insted?
I dont know of any, The 7.3 has it's own filter, the 6.0, 6.4 and 6.7 dont even fit it. you dont have purolator there? L44872? good luck If you have GM these will cross A/C delco PF2174, GM 25177933, Shell SH39
Years ago, I can remember that Fords and Mopars could use the same filter. PH8A was a Fram number. And if space was tight, PH43 would fit the same base. These could be used on many of the Fords and Mopars. Not today. I don't know of a single motor that uses the same oil filter as the 7.3psd.
If John Deere makes that filter, then perhaps they have an application that uses it too. Or, they just wanted to capitalize on all the farmers that own 7.3's!

Wow PH8A, brings back memories of my '90 Bronco w/ 5.8. Loved that truck too.
