Adding a Trailer Receiver Hitch
Hi,
I purchased a 2025 Lariat without a trailer hitch. Has anyone added a hitch to their Ranger after purchase? If so, do you have any recommendations? I don't have any specific towing needs, but I like having the capability to pull a small utility trailer or a U-Haul trailer should the need arise. Ford offers a dealer-installed Trailer Receiver Hitch for $650.00, plus installation labor.

Mine has one from the factory, but if I was going to add one it would probably be this one.

I have two rangers in my company and bought this same hitch for both. Took all of 10 minutes to install. Just need two 4 inch C clamps to hold the bumper in place while pulling the bolts to bolt the hitch in place. Instructions state to remove the spare, but there is no need to do that.
