After 3 months when it runs out give them the cold shoulder and they will beg you to sign back up and offer it to you for cheaper. At least thats how it went for both of my new trucks when the 3 month trial ended.

Oh, I'm definitely not buying a new subscription, probably won't even listen to the freebie between now and the 3rd.
If I do listen to music, I just use iHeart radio or my ripped cd's on a memory stick, enough for me.
I just get a kick out of them constantly chasing me, wondering if they'll ever quit...

I enjoy Sirius. Sure you have to play the game once a year to get your price. But with the app I can also listen to it in my other 2 CarPlay equipped vehicles no matter where I am without buying subscriptions for those radios. Also on my living room TV if I feel like it now and then. And there are more channels on the app than on the standard radio subscription.
Well worth it to me.

How do you guys get past the incredibly horrible customer service wait times when you call to cancel or re-negotiate the price? That is the sole reason I won't subscribe again. It should be illegal to allow someone to sign up via a web portal but not allow them to cancel via the same method.

Well, I actually listened to the free stuff over this past weekend, quite a few channels were blocked.
Now, sirius is banging at me from all sides, email every day, sometimes twice a day, and in the snail mail today as well.
Funny how much effort and costs they are putting into chasing past customers, offering them the world if they will come back.
