FREE...

SiriusXM free through June 3rd...

Then they'll let me keep it for $4 a month for a year.

Bought a new car for wife yesterday. Got 3 months free, then it's 6.99 per month for good, period. No contract, no limited time.

After 3 months when it runs out give them the cold shoulder and they will beg you to sign back up and offer it to you for cheaper. At least thats how it went for both of my new trucks when the 3 month trial ended.

I played the quit & get better pricing for years. Since then I found the sound quality of free Pandora to be much better & I'm not paying for it. Most of the advertisements are either too low of a volume or in a language I don't understand, so that is easy to "tune out" on Pandora.

Oh, I'm definitely not buying a new subscription, probably won't even listen to the freebie between now and the 3rd.
If I do listen to music, I just use iHeart radio or my ripped cd's on a memory stick, enough for me.
I just get a kick out of them constantly chasing me, wondering if they'll ever quit...

I enjoy Sirius. Sure you have to play the game once a year to get your price. But with the app I can also listen to it in my other 2 CarPlay equipped vehicles no matter where I am without buying subscriptions for those radios. Also on my living room TV if I feel like it now and then. And there are more channels on the app than on the standard radio subscription.
Well worth it to me.

That’s a good deal. Years ago, when Sirius first came out, I paid $10/mo. Being no more commuting I don’t listen, to Howard, any longer

I renew every year for the $5/mo "special deal" plan. I just like having a variety of tunes with no phone connection.

How do you guys get past the incredibly horrible customer service wait times when you call to cancel or re-negotiate the price? That is the sole reason I won't subscribe again. It should be illegal to allow someone to sign up via a web portal but not allow them to cancel via the same method.

I bought the lifetime back in 2006 or 2007. Paid $500. Use it all the time, love the extra channels with just music, no blibber blabber between songs.

Well, I actually listened to the free stuff over this past weekend, quite a few channels were blocked.
Now, sirius is banging at me from all sides, email every day, sometimes twice a day, and in the snail mail today as well.
Funny how much effort and costs they are putting into chasing past customers, offering them the world if they will come back.

From a business perspective it makes perfect sense because it's several times more likely to convince someone to spend money on your service again than to find a new customer.
