How much of this 1949 fender is missing?

It ends about 16.5" below the body line. I am assuming about 2" but I don't know as both sides are like this. Can someone post a picture like this with a better fender? I will be making repair panels to TIG into place and metal work to hopefully save these as new ones with lowers are approaching 2k delivered.

 

I don't have a picture, but with the tape hooked under the bottom edge of the fender, it is 19 1/2" to the body line where you have yours. There's plenty of pictures online of these trucks and fenders you can use for reference, like this one.

 

Ok, so more like 3" missing. Ya, I have images to reference but without a measurement I was kinda guessing. I tried to hold the new running boards up to see if I could get an idea but that was tough. I don't have an original frame or running board mounts to give me an reference points. I'm kind of just winging it here.
