Gear shift arm spacer (C1DF 7336-A)
All:
The spacer here goes between the two shift arms on the column shift for my '61 Ranchero. Unfortunately, when I disassembled this, I didn't pay attention to the orientation of the aforementioned spacer, which is clearly NOT symmetrical.
So I need some help. It also should be noted that, as best I can tell, the exploded drawing shows this thing in backwards, since I believe the C gap must be inserted towards the side of the shift tube that has the protruding tang that makes it all move. If I put it in as drawn, I can never engage the longer shift arm.

You might want to try over in the Ranchero section here.
