2019 FX4 shocks?

What shocks are suppose to come with a 2019 XL STX FX4? Bought my truck a few weeks ago new and was looking at them today and they appear to be just a black shock no rancho logo anywhere. I thought they were suppose to be rancho or does ford not do that any more?

Thanks
Chris

Dropped the rancho branding. Suppose to be different shocks but somebody mentioned they are the same part number.

Have to buy a Chevy if you want the white shocks with Rancho label!

They were always the same shocks, they just stopped painting them different.

Rancho *****d themselves out over this years ago to Ford. Shocks for the trucks were really junk compared to their "Rancho" regular factory offerings. In the modern today world they are at the bottom tier for off road shocks. This is not 1988 any longer.

The FX4 trucks still get what Ford calls their "Premium off-road shocks", they just aren't painted white with the Rancho logos anymore.

Not sure how one would now for sure if the new builds the shocks have improved. I just picked up my 2019 with fx package and it rides nice. I’m not a big off roader so probably didn’t need them anyway. But my ford dealer shop service guy says they have improved them. Could be just humoring me who knows. Time will tell I guess!

Trust me you're not missing out on anything. I replaced my white Rancho FX4 shocks on my 2012 with Bilstiens within 5k miles and Fox 2.0's on my 2017 before I took delivery of the truck. Hopefully the new ones are better.

I haven't been to impressed with the ride so far. Very stiff. Will be upgrading shocks eventually, hopefully to the fox 2.0

My bad. I thought I had read somewhere that the “Rancho” shocks had the same part number stamped in them as the standard shock.

This is what the Ford website said "FX4 OFF-ROAD PACKAGE. Increase your off-road capability by adding transfer case and fuel tank skid plates, Hill Descent Control, and off-road-tuned shocks that help get you ready for serious, low-speed crawling. An electronic-locking rear differential1 (SRW models) uses a true mechanical dog-clutch mechanism to lock the rear axle shafts together so they turn at the same speed for maximum gripping power."

I like the ride of the truck, but I haven't had it off-road yet.
