FX4 package?
'04 F250 6.0 w/ FX4... I know it has Rancho shocks.. but they're corroded enough that I can't see a model number. Anyone know if these are their RS5000, RS9000 or maybe some shocks only delivered to the Ford assembly line?

As a matter of fact, they have FOMOCO stamped right on the body. NOT made by Rancho. But I think the closest thing to them would be Rancho 5000, and they really are not well suited to the Superduty.
Lots of people here like Bilstein, and others like Rancho 9000. Plus a smattering of other brands.

Correct, They are Ford "Rancho branded" shocks and they suck. It's best not to replace with these OEM shocks. Buy an aftermarket gas shock or quality hydraulic. Bilsteins are the Favorite here and much suggested shock. They can be a little pricey but you get what you pay for on these.
