A newb asking about leveling kits.
Morning everyone! So I have a 2019 on the way and wanted to go ahead and get some parts coming for it. My question is about leveling kits and what others have experienced with them. I would like a setup that isn't going to negatively impact ride quality. I've asked around about the Ready Lift 2.5" spacer kit and have received mixed reviews. Could anyone currently running a leveling kit chime in and give me your opinion? I do apologize if there are already other threads on this. If you'd like just drop a link and I can follow. Figured this would be a good way to get into conversation for my first post.

Q: regarding LOWERING the rear of an F350, 4x4, Snow plow prep pkg, 6.2L, Crew Cab...would replacing the rear blocks with those from an F250 level the side view? I am guessing it would result in maybe a 2" reduction ? Would it be worth the effort or would the result be just 'closer to level' ...I will be ordering, do not have the truck to measure...thank you.

I'm really happy with my recently installed Rancho 2.5" level it system (RS66555R9). My ride quality is so much nicer for around town, fire roads and rough farm roads. The system has taken the harsh ride of the stock shocks and made it much smoother. Not to mention it looks kick ***!!
What appealed to me most from the Rancho level kit is it uses a new coil spring paired with adjustable dampening RS9000XL shocks (set at 4 up front) as I'm not a fan of spacers kits. The ride was so much nicer I went ahead and ordered the rear shocks to compliment the front (set at 3). Steers just like it did with the OEM equipment, with a slightly quicker return to center. I also added Carli sway bar drop brackets and the Readylift track bar relocation bracket (the axle shift was noticeable) as others have done previously.

Will the coils eventually "give" as time passes, reducing the original height of the level? Will the coil level "soften" the front end?

Spring rate will determine how stiff or soft the coil will function. Some springs have been known to “settle” over time however I have not read of any for our application. I have over 1000 miles on my Rancho springs and they have maintained exactly 2.5” of lift since install.

I am currently running the Carli Commuter 2.0 kit, which is a 2.5in leveling kit. Have nothing bad to say about it. The ride did become a little bit smoother on the highways but its not a huge noticeable difference, especially on my long bed 350. Kit included front leveling coils, 4 tuned fox 2.0 shocks, front brake lines, caster shims, front bump stop drops, sway bar drop bracket, and a track bar. For me personally, i think this will be better for my truck in the long run, i plan on keeping it for quite a long time and the spacer kits just didn't cut it for me.
