Sloppy Manual Trans Linkage

Vanvet's back again; this time I need to get the play out of my 1987 E150's 4-speed floor shift Manual trans linkage. It's really a hunt to find the gates; goes into gear just fine once I do find the gate, though. Hydraulic clutch works fine. I read of a nylon plastic bushing being present somewhere in the shifter's linkage, and I also suspect loose bolts where linkage is held to the tranny's side. I also am pretty sure the metal & rubber mount on top of the trans case behind the shifter is ripped, looks like it to me. So a Part Number for the nylon bushing & for the mount are needed. Any other advice is welcome such as other bushings needed, torque info for the bolts attaching the linkage to tranny's side, and an exploded view of the linkage would be a HUGE help! I don't really feel safe when it takes me so long to change gears. 4 speed manual, 4th is Overdrive. (RUG GA trans?)

Incomplete answer in your other thread in the van section. Stand by. I never got around to swapping that trans out, but I did tidy up the rods where they connect to the side levers. My floor flexed where the clutch master attached, that caused some issues. Fixed that one too. Good luck!

See your other thread. Do you have iron case, side linkage? Or aluminum case, turret?

I've attached photos of the side linkage, clutch slave cylinder, & a tranny mount which appears to have torn rubber; if side shifter linkage was only on iron cases then I've got an iron case---didn't have a magnet on me & it's got too much road gunk/dirt & oil for a reliable visual determination. the van's in storage right now but as soon as I get it out next month I'm making a beeline to the nearest car wash to clean that glop off!
In a minute I'm gonna HURT this POS iphone, stupid thing keeps jumping back to photo #1, Side Linkage, when I try to caption the 3 other photos. Aaagh!!!
