If my day time running lights stay on when I pull the headlight switch even after I push switch in could it be my drl module and can this cause my truck to not fire up

What year truck? Canada-bound model, presumably? What does "not fire up" mean? It's not cranking? Cranking but not starting?

I think what hes trying to ask is, if his DRL's are staying on after he shuts the lights and key off, will that kill the battery. If you have DRL, you may have the courtesy light where they stay on a few minutes after. Grammar and punctuation really do go a long ways when trying to convey a point or question though.

Crew cab 7.3 idi turbo won't start and all light stay on

When I go to turn my key nothing happens at all my dash lights up as it should and I can hear my glow plug relay clicking but there is no crank at all. but there is power to the starter solenoid because I can fire the truck up with a screw driver. My glow plug and starter solenoid are both new but I have my suspensions about the glow plug wireing harness being bad dose this harness send power directly from ignition to the starting solenoid? And my ignition switch is also new

And when I pull my headlight switch out every light that is supposed to come on dose but when I push it back in they all stay on. I was told it could be a bad DRL but since they stay on after I let my truck run I disconnect the battery because my truck battery will die. Before this all happened the truck would start in half a crank and still dose when I jump it at the starter solinoid

Automatic or manual transmission?

Is this a Canada truck?

Remove and disconnect the headlight switch, and inspect the connector. Look for electrical/burn damage.

Doesn't matter where it's FROM. What country is it made FOR?

Check the clutch safety switch on the master pushrod.

Without a build sheet, that says nothing about where it's built FOR.

Not sure how much easier to make this -- is the speedometer major scale in MPH or km/h?
