In the Market for 2017 Ford F250
In the next week or so I'll be in the market for a 2017 Ford F250. Crew cab, 4 x 4. Diesel. Probably a loaded Lariat with Ultimate pkg or Platinum. Does anyone know what I should expect to pay below MSRP? Any kind of idea as to what percentage I should be offering below MSRP? Any suggestions appreciated.

Any suggestions, I would buy today if I could get that deal...I am still waiting for my brochure coupon. Looking to get a Platinum 250.

You can get an F-250 4x4 diesel Lariat Ultimate for $64,440 and the Platinum jumps that same truck to $71,650. Keep in mind you can add options and packages to both trucks which will raise the MSRP much higher.
In my area, there doesn't seem to be any incentives or rebates aside from the $750 if you finance with Ford (but at 4.9%). I would therefore expect the discount to be a little below invoice pricing. Maybe $5-6k is realistic. Anything beyond that is a great deal.

Sticker on my plat was just shy of $78k, talked them to under $68k and had a $22k trade in.
Something to note that I haven't seen yet - if you have the option to get the giant sun roof - I'd pass on it. The truck doesn't insulate very well even with the cover closed on it. I hit max A/C and even with the truck cooling down the cab - the sun roof is still makes the whole truck hot as *****.
Also so if you plan on lifting the truck, find one without the adaptive cruise control. The radar doesn't work 100% of the time now, haven't found a solution to it yet (don't know if there is one).

The invoice price is generally somewhere in the range of 5 - 6% below MSRP. So a $70K MSRP truck, the invoice is going to be in the $65 - $66K range. Then you have any rebates on top of that.
That basically leaves the hold-back to get much more out so the dealer will decide how much of the $2,100 he wants to let you have. Outside of some regional incentives to move trucks, $10K off a Super Duty is doing well. If you look at MSRP between F150 and F250 trucks, you will find that the F150 is likely higher, feature for feature which, I believe anyway, is how dealers are able to advertise F150 trucks at higher discounts than F250/350.....pricing "strategies" with the higher volume truck to make the deals appear better......
