F250 Flareside: 7,247 / F250 "wrong bed" Styleside: 6,002 / F250 Uni (Styleside): 10,703

All Uni's were 2WD, the Flaresides & the "wrong bed" Stylesides could be 2WD or 4WD

All 1961/66 F350 Stylesides used the exclusive 9' Express "wrong bed."

Thank you, Bill.

My comparison was between Flaresides and "wrong bed" Stylesides. I knowingly excluded Uni's as not being true Stylesides (and that's why I referred to "small surprises" rather than "shocking surprises"). But what this chart does show clearly is that Flareside production does not materially increase through 1966 (and hits its "peak", at least for F-100's, in 1963) while Styleside production grows continuously and dramatically.

Regards,

Steve

Does your book give numbers for a 1962 f250 4x4 styleside?

Look at post #1: There are no 4WD Cab & Chassis or Flareside or Styleside pickup production figures, as they were lumped in with the 2WD's.

1961/65 F100 4WD Stylesides & 1961/66 F250 4WD Stylesides used the 1957/60 Styleside beds. Called the "wrong" beds by enthusiasts, because the bed lines don't match the cab lines.

There were 6,002 1962 F250 Styleside 2WD's & 4WD's assembled.

Even though my book has a different title it is the same author. Therefore all of the Ford information is the same as above. Someone else had asked about GM stuff so I thought I would offer the use of my book to share knowledge as a car guy.

Would it be reasonable to assume that Canadian F250/M250 production was also lower than the F100/M100 numbers?

I will look up the production numbers for the 250 series trucks. The fine print in my book says that Canadian numbers are included where and when available but there will be no specific breakdown for Canadian only

I noticed my post #1 was scrambled when they changed the forum software a while back so I edited it with a better way to display that information. Here's a handy link back to the first post.
