This truck is looking more and more like a grand touring contender as it gets closer to completion. Awesome job!

Nice, looks like they just welded the crown Vic center into a new wheel barrel?

I was just reading that article last month. Lol.....then I found :
Blank Rims
I'll order up a pair of hoops from them (10s or 10.5")
Not sure if I'll save anything by having the hoops ahead of time or not...but at least I'll have what I want.
Make sure those 10 or 10.5s fit. Measure and measure again. We felt 9 was a good compromise for this build.

Exactly. I posted a link to an article about Pico and what they do. Check it out. It's a few posts back.

Thank you everyone else for following the build. Always appreciate the compliments.

Thanks for the input, I've never ordered custom wheels or had wheels modified (always made off the shelf work to keep cost down) I'm sure I'll spend a couple days measuring before I commit. Haha.
Im sure 10/10.5 will fit but will obviously measure. I have a 72, the frame rails are a little narrower.

Let me guess..Frame tank for pump gas, cab tank for race?

Thanks. And yes this will cover up the stereo system.

Backside of tank before we separated. Tank was sourced from local junkyard.

Tank cut in half with Sawzall.

Tank separated and cleaned. Fuel fill tube was deleted and new corner welded on. Patch panel to delete fuel sender hole.

Both top and bottom corner patched and finished. All holes welded.

Powdercoated.

What can I say that has not been said. This has been a wonderful holiday read for me.

Love the work from both of you.
