We talked for quite a while. Seemed more than willing to help out.
You were able to source out longer window and door handle shafts. How much longer are they? With these door panels I bought. I’m definitely gonna have to come up with something. When I talk to the owner of the company, he said on the last truck that they did they didn’t use the chrome trim ring. They just pushed the handle in and they were able to get it without that chrome trimmer ring.
The stems are only 1/4" longer. I originally was going to put crank windows in the pickup but went with electric instead and had already re-stemmed the window cranks and also did the door handle regulators . I thought I'd switch over the regulators from the pickup for this one but I can't remove them without taking the windows out so ordered new ones with the longer stems..
That doesn’t look like the green tinted glass. That’s the kind of glass that I would’ve liked. The dark tinted like that.
I just tinted all my windows myself, and when I was installing all the new antirattle kit in the doors, there was part of a clip that was sticking out and tore up my tint.
It is the tint I ordered but after it was ordered the old car centre called back and said they couldn't get it ,only in the green. Needing glass I said send whatever you can get . I think they were just specifying the windshield but that's not how they explained it. I know the windshield can't be shaded that dark..
It has a light tint and has the band on top that is about equal to the side and back glass..I had to order some 1/16" glass setting tape , the 3/64" thick tape isn't quite thick enough to hold the glass..
I didn't use the glass that came for the vent windows. I bought new vent windows a couple years ago and they were clear so I took them to a pro tint shop and had them done. When I picked them up he said no charge, and to consider it a contribution to my build..

35% is what I did on my side windows. My rear glass already had that brownish smoke to it and I did a 5% over it.
I might have to pull out the antirattle felt and see what is sharp and tearing my tint
