I'd tend to think over time as people replace their windshields some opt to leave the stainless steel trim off. Either it is damaged, they couldn't get the correct weatherstrip with the channel for the trim or they simply like the looks without it.

Consider this truck here in this video. It's a custom cab. Born without windshield trim or not?

I had to take the seat out of this truck just to clean the 6 inch deep pile of mouse turdlets and sticks and twigs out f

rom behind the seat back area. It cleaned up pretty well. Once I got the hideous seat cover off the original cover was revealed. I like it.
The original cover is really not all that bad.



I love the old Ford script.



Here's where untold generations of rodents made their home for years. This is after I blew it out with compressed air.
